Abu Dhabi Art 2009 saw 4 remarkably successful days of exhibitions, programs, events and art sales attracting over 15,000 visitors. This annual platform for modern and contemporary art is held under the patronage of His Highness General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nayan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.

In accordance with last year’s proceedings, the core structure of Abu Dhabi Art 2010 includes a galleries, signature, and beyond sector.

Galleries Sector

Confirming Abu Dhabi’s emergence as a new hub of the art market, Abu Dhabi Art 2010 will reaffirm its identity as an international boutique fair with around 50 Galleries to be selected from the Middle East, Asia Pacific, Europe and the United States.

Signature Sector

The Signature sector offers the opportunity to present emerging artists to the international art world in a one-person show. Applicants should know that a limited number of standard-sized booths available for Signature, and acceptance into the main galleries sector does not guarantee acceptance.  

Beyond Sector

The Beyond sector offers a platform for the optimal outdoor presentation and sale of contemporary artworks and projects that exceeds the scope of exhibition booths. Outdoor sculptures will be presented within the grounds of Emirates Palace and are to be selected by the Abu Dhabi Art Selection Committee
