An important part of the Abu Dhabi Art ethos is to bring a focus on art from the Arab world and for the second year the fair is partnering with Al Noor library to bring their collection of books on modern and contemporary art from Arab and Iranian worlds to the international art arena.

Al Noor Institute of Middle Eastern Art (NIMEA, nimea.net) and its library, held at Meem Gallery, is regarded as the largest resource centre for the arts from the Middle East in the region. To date, the library houses a collection of more than 8,000 books, journals and auction catalogues relating to Islamic and modern and contemporary Middle Eastern art, as well as an image archive of over 17,000 images related to the subject.
