Since inception in 1993, L&M Arts has become one of the leading post-war and contemporary art galleries in the world, offering important works by artists of the 20th and 21st centuries with the personalised art advisory services of its founding partners Robert Mnuchin and Dominique Lévy. The gallery has earned accolades for its museum-quality exhibitions on artists such as Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse, Willem de Kooning and Mark Rothko as well as a younger generation of blue-chip artists such as Damien Hirst. This commitment to working with living artists has grown since a groundbreaking retrospective with Jeff Koons in 2004, and more recent exhibitions with David Hammons and Liza Lou. Extending this commitment, the gallery inaugurated its branch in Los Angeles in September 2010 with the purpose of working with living artists such as Thomas Houseago, Jacob Kassay and Ahmed Alsoudani.
