Ayyam Gallery

Since its founding in 2006, Ayyam Gallery has quickly become one of the Middle East’s premier art spaces. By representing a selection of the world’s leading contemporary Arabian artists working in a variety of media, the gallery has sought to promote the region’s dynamic cultural scene both at home and abroad. The gallery’s continued commitment to the expansion and progression of local art has lead to a number of landmark initiatives. These include The Shabab Ayyam Project, an incubator for developing talent and Ayyam Publishing, an in-house publishing arm that has produced over forty artists’ monographs. The gallery is committed to representing the broad spectrum of Middle Eastern contemporary art by tapping into the varied trends and contexts for this recent global hotspot. The curation of its programme of over twenty artists is spread over outposts in Beirut, Damascus and Dubai and whilst remaining specialised in Middle Eastern art the gallery maintains its step with the international contemporary art market.
