Edward Tyler Nahem Fine Art, New York, was established in 1985 as a gallery specialising in American and European modern, post-war and contemporary art. Before that time the gallery was located in Oslo, Norway, where it was founded in 1978. Over the past twenty-five years, the gallery has built an international reputation for exhibiting important paintings, sculpture and works on paper by modern and contemporary masters. The gallery is known for its expertise in the works of Jean-Michel Basquiat, Alighiero Boetti, Alexander Calder, John Chamberlain, Jean Dubuffet, Sam Francis, Anselm Kiefer, Franz Kline, Willem de Kooning, Roy Lichtenstein, Joan Mitchell, Pablo Picasso, Robert Rauschenberg, Gerhard Richter, Mark Rothko, Ed Ruscha, Frank Stella and Andy Warhol, among others.
