Gallery Information
Salwa Zeidan Gallery first opened in Abu Dhabi in 1994 and re-opened in January 2009 with a new and expanded space. The gallery acts as a platform for international artists, internationally recognised Middle Eastern artists and as an incubator for emerging UAE and Arab world talents.
The gallery exhibits a programme of artists working in a variety of media as well as hosting workshops and poetry evenings. The gallery works with artists showing contemporary vision through curated independent and collaborative exhibitions with international galleries and curators, and seminal educational institutions such as Zayed University. The gallery’s most notable project was the Abu Dhabi International Sculpture Symposium (ADISS). The gallery stands as one of the most active and reputed galleries in Abu Dhabi.
