Gallery Information
The Third Line is an art gallery in Dubai, with the objective of creating a platform for the support and promotion of a rising generation of artists in the region. In addition to monthly exhibitions, The Third Line hosts non-profit, alternative programmes to increase interest and debate in the region – this includes ‘Kutub’, a monthly, bi-lingual Arab literature appreciation circle, as well as film screenings at the gallery. The Third Line also hosts and co-organises with other creative partners an international multimedia forum for artists and designers called ‘Pecha Kucha Night Dubai’. In 2009, the gallery established a publishing division, ‘Works on Paper’, creating books on associated artists from the region.
