Moderated by Sarah Thornton, The Abu Dhabi Art Panel: The Global Art Market will bring together a group of leading art-world professionals from various cities around the world, including gallerists Andree Semler and Nicholas Acquavella, to take a closer look at each of their localised art scenes – including New York, Hamburg, Beirut and others – and analyse the similarities and differences between them. This panel will ask, what opportunities and challenges do galleries face when working on a transnational level? And what remains on national, regional and international horizons for these artists and gallerists to explore?
